The Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council are pleased to announce the results of the Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships 2010-2011 competition.
Applications underwent a two-stage competitive review process. The first stage involved the evaluation by one of three peer review committees established by the three granting agencies. A total of 105 applications (35 from each committee) were forwarded for the second stage of the review process to an independent interagency Selection Board who evaluated each of the 105 applications and made the final recommendations. The Selection Board recommended the most meritous recipients per agency to the Steering Committee for final approval of the top 70 recipients.
