Selection Committee Review Timelines

• November: Application Deadline – applications are received at the granting agencies.
• November/December: Applications reviewed for eligibility and assigned to reviewers.
• December/January: Evaluation of applications by reviewers
• February: Selection Committees meet to discuss applications and finalize recommendations
• March: Selection Board meets to endorse the list of applications to be recommended to the Steering Committee and to review the program's process and policies.
• March: Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships Program applicants are notified of their result in the competition.
• April to October: Tenure of the award may begin.
